- Value Planning
Involves discovering what your customers want, identifying compliance needs, and stakeholder needs. Forming your strategy based on the value gaps (gaps between what your needs and capabilities) and then establishing plans to address those gaps.
- Value Creation
Once you complete your Value Planning, the next step involves Value Creation. This is where you introduce ideas to improve existing products and/or build new products (and perhaps platforms) to execute against the strategy established during Planning. The key is to ensure any changes you make the Products & Services (how your customers consume value), the operational processes (used to deliver value), and the people and technology (used to deliver capabilities and services to create value) aligns with the Desired Outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Value Delivery
These are the people, processes, and technologies that leverage the collective knowledge (including Intellectual Property) in the organization to deliver the products & services your customers consume. Every organization has these whether public or private.
- Value Measurement
This is where we monitor how well your products & services are addressing your customers, compliance, and stakeholder needs. The key is to measure how well your doing with Value Planning, Value Roadmapping, and Value Delivery so that you can ensure that what gets delivered to customers is what they want, and what compliance & stakeholders want gets addressed.
